Super Dungeon Explore, Heroes, Glimmerdusk Ranger
With Guest Painter: AmyIntroduction
This was my first real attempt at painting a miniature. I had previously painted an Orc using 3 colours only, but I don't think I really gave it anywhere as much thought or effort, hence I am claiming this one to be my first attempt.
After searching through images of others who had painted this model I decided to make bright red hair as the stand out colour and decided to stick with mostly bright colours throughout.

Conclusion
I found the painting process to be quite frustrating at times, as I kept going over the same mistakes again and again in an attempt to make them 'perfect.' In the end I had to let some things slide as I was actually creating a lot more work for myself!Overall though I actually enjoyed painting Glimmerdusk Ranger and enjoyed watching her come alive in colour. I will probably have another go at painting and hopefully reduce the time spent as this one took me 4 1/2 hours! I think that was largely due to me making skill errors so hopefully I have learned something along the way.
