Super Dungeon Explore, Heroes, Angry Bear

Introduction

The Angry bear was one of the model I was looking forward to painting from the start of my Super Dungeon Explore adventure, its the transformed form the of the druid and in my opinion painted in similar colours.

I original wanted to paint this guy as a panda, basically tropic thunder style but I saw the pointy ears and got a wolf feeling more than a bear. I ended up choosing the style of a brown bear.

1. Fur: Brown (Minitaire, Bark)
2. Fur: Highlight: Brown (Reaper, Woodland Brown)
3. Fur Tufts: Cream (P3, Menoth White Base)
4. Chains, Wrists and Knee Pad: Silver (Army Painter, Gun Metal)
5. Claws, Eyes, Teeth Bandage at back: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
6. Pupil and Nose: Black (Army Painter Matt Black)
7. Tongue: Red (Reaper, Brilliant Red)
8. Chest Gem: Purple (Reaper, Gem Purple)
9. Eye Ink: Red (Army Painter Ink, Red Tone)
10. Fur Ink: Brown (Army Painter Ink, Soft Tone)
11. Base: Black (Army Painter, Matt Black)
12. Base Drybrush: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)

Conclusion

At the end of the day it turned out ok, I think the white fur tufts turned out a little more like plague sores but at the end of the day I could mess around for months so I let it go. This it looks powerful and I kinda like it.
