Malifaux, The M&SU, Ramos, The Arachnids
Introduction
Well I had an idea of what I wanted and it was a gold silver mix, I had searched up some pictures of brass to get an idea for the brass arachnid and figured they could share the scheme. I also wanted the models to look a little grimy, they would be scuttling around on the ground and would natural get dirty they would also be oily.Painting

Basing
The bases needed some fiddling because 3 of those spiders had a hard time fitting onto one medium base. The others were going to be fine on their own single bases. I decided to add a little height to the medium base and get around the spacing issues that way.I ended up using a bit of a plastic straw for a pipe on one model, rocks and tanbark on the others, all embedded in wall filler. The bit and pieces were picked up on a walk to the local park, I dried the wood in the oven before using to prevent any water from becoming a breeding ground for mould.
Conclusion
I feel like I really hit the mark with these guys. They were what I was aiming for and the bases worked out better than I thought they would.
