Super Dungeon Explore, Heroes, Deeproot Druid
Introduction
The non-transformed version of the Angry bear I really wanted to have that green beard stand out. I also wanted the models to appear to be associated so using similar colours would always be a great idea.Painting
Step By Step
- Fur: Brown (Minitaire, Bark)
- Fur: Highlight: Brown (Reaper, Woodland Brown)
- Fur Tufts: Cream (P3, Menoth White Base)
- Skin: Skin (Reaper, Caucasian Flesh)
- Chains, Wrists and Knee Pad: Silver (Army Painter, Gun Metal)
- Eyes and Bandage at back: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
- Pupil and Nose: Black (Army Painter Matt Black)
- Loin Cloth: Red (Reaper, Brilliant Red)
- Chest Gems: Purple (Reaper, Gem Purple)
- Feet: Cream (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
- Ink: Brown (Army Painter Ink, Soft Tone)
- Base: Black (Army Painter, Matt Black)
- Base Drybrush: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
Conclusion
I really feel I captured the idea of the model the only thing that didn't carry across was the green beard the red was there the bear cloak was similar and the eyes on both cloak and head appeared to be looking at something rather than being completely derpy.
