Super Dungeon Explore, Kobolds, Rex

Introduction

The last of the kobold models the Rex are giant kobolds who really want to whack stuff, the models are quite nice for the Super Dungeon Explore range, While I think I would have preferred them with a little more detail overall they are good.

Painting

Step By Step

1. Paint the Skin: Blue (Minitaire, Blue Lagoon)
2. Paint the Club: Brown (Minitaire, Bark)
3. Paint the Bandages: Cream (P3, Menoth White Base)
4. Paint the Bones and Nails: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
5. Paint the Pelt: Red (Minitaire, Angelic Blood)
6. Paint the Metal: Silver (Army Painter, Gun metal)
7. Paint the Eyes: Red (Reaper, Brilliant Red)
8. Paint the Base: Black (Army Painter, Matt Black)
9. Dry Brush the Base: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
10. Ink the Model: Brown (Army Painter Ink, Soft Tone)

Conclusion

I enjoyed painting the models, the larger areas provide a really good place to learn to airbrush smoothly and some of the bits are very satisfying when you can airbrush them free hand.

The model looks nice and large and turned out really well.
