Introduction

Another one of the models I wanted to paint from the start, I didn't want the full blow happy Mario I wanted the hard core, rough Mario. See the image below for inspiration.

Step By Step

1. Bandana and Shirt: Red (Minitaire, Angelic Blood)
2. Gloves, Overalls and Boots: Brown (Minitaire, Bark)
3. Weapon and Goggles: Silver (Army Painter, Gun Metal)
4. Goggle Lenses: Blue (Reaper, Ice Blue)
5. Weapon Highlight: Gold (Army Painter, Greedy Gold)
6. Mustache: Brown (Reaper, Woodland Brown) 
7. Eyes: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
8. Pupils: Black (Army Painter, Matt Black)
9. Base: Black (Army Painter, Matt Black)
10. Base Dry Brush: White (P3, Menoth White Highlight)
11. Model Ink: Brown (Army Painter Ink, Strong Tone)

Conclusion

I really like the results on this guy, I thought he was going to end up a dark mess but he actually became stronger when I highlighted the bases after the inking.
